Cooperative and Collective Economy Forum 2025. Promoting Linkages for the Development of the Cooperative Economy.

On the afternoon of November 28, at the Government Headquarters, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung, Head of the National Steering Committee on Collective Economy, and Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh co-chaired the Cooperative and Collective Economy Forum 2025 under the theme “Effective Linkages between Cooperatives and Enterprises.” The Forum was held in a hybrid format, combining in-person participation with online connections to ministries, sectors, and localities nationwide.

The Forum provided an important opportunity to strengthen linkages among four key stakeholders: enterprises, cooperatives, researchers, and the State, while also discussing groundbreaking solutions to promote more effective cooperation models. Specifically, the discussions focused on improving institutional mechanisms and policies, enhancing coordination among ministries, sectors, and local authorities; mobilizing resources, and strengthening the role of cooperatives, enterprises, and supporting organizations. In addition, the Forum proposed recommendations to further refine support mechanisms and policies. It also suggested ways to address challenges currently faced by cooperatives.

At the Forum, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Mong, Director of Market Development at Sorimachi Vietnam, presented solutions for digital transformation in agriculture, particularly for the collective economy sector and the cooperative system. He introduced software solutions currently deployed by Sorimachi Vietnam, including WACA – accounting software for cooperatives, FaceFarm – an electronic diary for recording production processes, and Hanbai – sales management software. These solutions are specifically designed to align with the governance characteristics of Vietnamese cooperatives, helping them enhance financial transparency, manage production systematically, standardize processes, and strengthen connectivity between cooperatives and enterprises.

Sorimachi’s contributions at the Forum closely reflected the Government’s guiding principles, especially Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s direction on digital transformation: it must be practical, integrated into daily life, with people and businesses at the centre, and serve as both a driving force and goal of development.

Therefore, Sorimachi’s proposals are not only technical solutions but also reflect a long-term commitment to supporting Vietnam in building modern, transparent, efficient, and highly integrated cooperative models in the context of the digital economy.
