Co-Creating a Future-Oriented Vision
Aiming to Realize Sustainable Agriculture
As part of the “Future-Oriented Co-Creation Projects in the Southern Hemisphere”, Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) aims to support countries in the Southern Hemisphere in addressing the challenges they’re currently facing. At the same time, the program encourages economic cooperation, helps revitalize Japan’s domestic industries, and promotes innovation by tapping into the region’s strong potential for growth.
The program offers partial funding for pilot projects that bring real benefits to the countries where they take place.
Out of 144 project submissions, only 36 were selected after a competitive review — including Sorimachi’s “DX and GX Agricultural Pilot Project in the Mekong Delta”.
