The First Step towards Building a Sustainable Value Chain
The initiative to develop five pilot regions for certified raw materials, aimed at both domestic consumption and export from 2021 to 2025, led by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (under Decision No. 1088/QD-BNN-HTTT), serves as the foundation for creating a sustainable value chain. This effort focuses on enhancing product value and boosting competitiveness in both local and international markets.
The First Step towards Building a Sustainable Value Chain
Execution Details
By promoting the use of digital technology to manage product origins, production processes, and farming expertise, Vietnam can build large-scale, modern, and long-term raw material areas across regions. Connecting these areas through digital data with processing and export businesses will help accelerate the restructuring of the agricultural sector.
Sorimachi Vietnam Co., Ltd. is working in collaboration with the Department of Cooperative Economy and Rural Development to implement the “Nhat ky san xuat” (FaceFarm) and “Ke toan HTX” (WACA) software. These tools are designed to support raw material area (RMA) managers and agricultural cooperatives within the pilot project, helping them effectively apply digital solutions in managing RMAs and improving their production and business operations.
