Specific Goals of the Vietnamese Government by 2025

According to Decision 1318/QD-TTg issued by the Vietnamese Government on July 22, 2021, the following key points are outlined:

100% of Agricultural Cooperatives (ACs) will operate in compliance with the Cooperative Law (enhancing accounting and auditing capabilities).
Promote traceability of agricultural products (complying with VietGAP standards).
Develop special product models (OCOP) using digital transformation and e-commerce.

To achieve these goals by 2025, collaboration between industries, academia, and government agencies in Vietnam and Japan is essential for building a digital transformation foundation for agriculture and ensuring sustainable development mechanisms. Sorimachi Group is committed to contributing to the digital transformation of Vietnamese agriculture through these efforts.

By providing IT solutions for agriculture, we have been implementing specific projects aimed at improving the future for farmers. After significant efforts to introduce our products to cooperatives, farmer groups, individuals, and agricultural management authorities, WACA and FACEFARM have been recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture as essential tools in the digital transformation of agriculture.

JICA Project

WACA and FaceFarm were selected by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for the project “Basic Survey on Smart Agriculture in Agricultural Cooperatives in Lam Dong Province” in November 2020.

Raw Material Region Project

Sorimachi Vietnam Co., Ltd. is collaborating with the Department of Cooperative Economics and Rural Development to implement “Nhat ky san xuat” software (FaceFarm) and “Ke toan HTX” software (WACA), which support the management of raw material production regions and business operations for cooperatives.

Global South Project

Aiming for the goal of strengthening the capacity of officials and cooperatives involved in the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment sustainable rice production project in the Mekong Delta, the “WACA” and “FaceFarm” systems are being used to build an efficient operational guidance system.
